본 대학원은 항공우주과학 기술분야의 고급기술인력을 양성하기 위해 1979년에 설립되어 지금까지 20여년 동안
꾸준한 발전을 거듭하여 현재 석사과정 11개 학과와 박사과정 10개학과에 총 정원 400여명을 둔 대학원으로
성장하였습니다. 항공운항·항공기계 및 우주·항공재료·항공전자·정보통신·항공교통·경영,항공우주법, 영어 등 항공 전 분야에 걸쳐 종합적인 교수와 연구가 이루어지고 있으며, 최고수준의 교육과 연구가 수행될 수 있도록 합리적이고
선진화된 교과과정을 편성하여 운영하고 있습니다. 또한 교수진의 연구실적은 국내 대학 중에서 최상위권에 속하
는 것으로 평가되어 있어 학생들에게 수준 높은 연구와 학위논문 지도가 제공될 것입니다.
본 대학원에서는 미래의 항공우주산업을 선도해 나갈 수 있는 지도자적인 유능한 고급기술인력 양성에 진력해
나아갈 것입니다.

The Graduate School at Korea Aerospace University is founded upon a commitment to excellence in teaching and research in the aviation related area. The Graduate School is known as one of the best and largest institutes in that area for the size and excellence of its faculty and student community.
Since its establishment in 1979, the Graduate School has grown in the width and depth of its programs.
The institute offers 11 master's degree programs and 10 doctoral degree programs in Flight Operations, Aeronautical and Mechanical Engineering, Space Technology, Avionics Engineering, Telecommunication and Information Engineering, Material Engineering, Air Transportation, Computer Engineering, Business Administration, and English. The institute maintains the quality of teaching and research in each program to the highest level.
Hence, students enrolled in the Graduate School are presented with a wide array of opportunities for professional development.
