October 25th, 1969 The Student Advisory Institute was opened.
December 31th, 1968 In accordance with revision of Decree on the Establishment of National Schools(Presidential Decree No.2696), the jurisdiction of National Aviation College was transferred from the Ministry of Transportation to the Ministry of Education, and its name was renewed to Hankuk Aviation University. Several departments renewed their name with each entrance quota for 20 students: Department of Flight Operation to Department of Flight Management, Department of Aircraft Maintenance Engineering to Department of Mechanic Engineering, Department of Communication & Control to Department of Aeronautical Telecommunication Engineering, Department of Applied Electronics to Department of Avionics Engineering Affiliated organization and institutes were opened - the Central Library, the Maintenance Factory, the Wireless Lab, the Aviation Research Institute were opened, the Training School for Aviation Tech.
September 2th, 1968 The Electronics & Telecommunication Building was built.
January 19th, 1965 In accordance with revision of Decree on the Establishment of National Schools(Presidential Decree No.2039), entrance requirements were revised to candidates having a high school degree or its equivalent, and the years for course completion was modified to 4-year.
March 31th, 1964 In accordance with Notification No.191 of the Ministry of Education, the school was approved to have a 4-year bachelor¡¯s degree for natural science and engineering.
November 22th, 1963 First academic building was built at Hwajeon-dong, Deokyang-gu, Goyang-city, Gyeonggi-do.
October 23th, 1963 In accordance with revision of Decree on the Establishment of National Schools(Decree Law No.1605), changes were made as below: Reorganized from National Aviation University to National Aviation School, Entrance requirements were set to candidates having a degree on general natural science and engineering or 2-year college, Reformed junior and senior course to sophomore course, Specialized course was made.
August 1th, 1962 The campus was moved to 40 Hangangro, Yongsan-gu, Seoul.
