December 5th, 1979
Master¡¯s courses for Graduate School of Aeronautical Engineering and Avionics Engineering were authorized,
and 20 students were designated for each department respectively.

October 21th, 1979
Department of Aviation Management is renamed to Department of Business Administration.

March 5th, 1979
Mr. Choonghoon Cho, the former chairman of the Hanjin Group, was inaugurated as the executive director
of the Board of Trustees for the Jungseok Foundation.

January 10th, 1979
Jungseok Foundation took over National Hankuk Aviation University.

October 31th, 1978
Entrance quota was set to 300 by designating 100 additional students:
10 for Department of Aviation Management,
60 for Department of Aerospace Mechanical Engineering,
10 for Department of Aeronautical Telecommunication Engineering,
20 for Department of Avionics Engineering.

December 31th, 1976
In accordance with School Quota revision(Presidential Decree No.8393),
total entrance quota was set to 200 by designating 10 additional students for both Department of
Aviation Flight Operation and Department for Aviation Management respectively.

August 30th, 1975
The Flight Operation Building was built.

December 28th, 1974
The Mechanical Engineering Building was built.

June 1th, 1974
The Aviation Control Center was opened.

December 30th, 1972
The Central Library was built.

December 22th, 1972
In accordance with School Quota revision, Department of Flight Management was divided into Department of
Aviation Flight Operation and Department of Aviation Management,
and their total quota was set to 180 by designating 30 students for each department.

December 18th, 1972
In accordance with School Quota revision, changes were made as below:
Department of Mechanic Engineering was renamed to Department of Aerospace Mechanical Engineering,
Total entrance quota was set to 150 by designating 10 additional students for each department - Department of
Aerospace Mechanical Engineering, Aeronautical Telecommunication Engineering, and Avionics Engineering -
respectively.

December 10th, 1971
Air Force ROTC program was established.


December 22th, 1970
Total entrance quota was increased set to 120 by designating 20 additional more students for each department.

December 18th, 1970
The Liberal Arts Building was built.
