Korea is striving to develop its air transport related industries and ultimately the national economy by developing physical distribution industries to a world-class standard on the strength of such infrastructure as Incheon International Airport. Therefore, we need many quality specialists in the fields of physical distribution or logistics. Accordingly, the Traffic Management Course fosters highly qualified traffic management personnel who can satisfy the need of the related industries for modernization while attaining the national goal of developing Korea into a Northeast Asian logistic service hub.
This course teaches major subjects on traffic and transportation centered physical distribution, including physical distribution planning, system design and operation, traffic management and information, all of which are necessary skills for traffic management specialists. It fosters personnel equipped with both the expert knowledge and practical competence required to operate advanced physical distribution systems through field practice courses.
The students may obtain a traffic management specialist¡¯s or engineer¡¯s certificate by taking multiple or minor subjects while attending this course. The graduates work for airlines, transportation, physical distribution service providers, the traffic management departments of manufacturing or service companies, or consulting firms.
