KAU¡¯s College of Aviation and Management has been one of the primary sources of growth of the civil aviation industry in Korea, the latter having rapidly developed into one of the world¡¯s most advanced aviation countries on the strength of its comprehensive training of aviation experts. The Aviation Management College was founded in 2007 by integrating one school and three departments, each of which were specialists in their respective fields, for the purpose of introducing an inter-disciplinary curriculum uniting aviation and business management.
The College includes the Flight Operations Department, which has become a Mecca for training civil air pilots since the establishment of KAU in 1952, the Business Management Department, which has been highly evaluated by aviation and other industries since its inception in 1972, the Air Transportation & Logistics School, which has achieved great success in such specialized education programs as air logistics and air transportation since its inception in 1988, and the Aerospace Law Department, which has provided education in the law and institutions of the aerospace sector since its foundation in 1999.
