The College of Engineering was founded by integrating the Schools of Aerospace and Mechanical Engineering, and Electronics, Telecommunication and Computer Engineering, and the Department of Materials Engineering.Prof. Ye-seon Hong inaugurated as the first dean of the College of Engineering.

The School of Electronic, IT and Computer Engineering was renamed as the School of Avionic and IT Engineering.

The Departments of Aircraft Mechanics, Mechanics Design, and Aerospace Engineering were merged into the School of Aerospace and Mechanical Engineering.The Departments of Avionic, Air Communication and Computer Engineering were merged into the School of Electronic, IT and Computer Engineering.

Korea National Aviation University was acquired from the School Foundation, Jeongseok.

Maintenance Engineering Department renamed as the Aircraft Mechanical Engineering Department.

The National Aviation School was transferred from the Transportation Ministry to the Education Ministry and renamed as the Korea Aviation College. The Departments of Aircraft Engine, Communication Control and Applied Electronics were renamed as the Departments of Maintenance Engineering, Air Communication Engineering, and Air Electronic Engineering.

Reorganized as the National Aviation School pursuant to the Decree on Founding National Schools.

The Department of Communication Electronics divided into the Department of Communication Control and Applied Electronics.

Engine and Communication Departments renamed as the Aircraft Engine and Communication Electronics Department.

Reorganized into a 4-year National Aviation College.

2-year Transportation High School founded with the Engine and Communication Department, subordinate to the Transportation Ministry
